April 23, 2015 Amsterdam – Kerstin Berns (berns language consulting) joins the group of TAUS representatives.
The representatives are consultants, independent from TAUS, helping companies to implement and work with TAUS resources, metrics and tools such as the TAUS Dynamic Quality Framework (DQF), TAUS Data and the TAUS Translation API.
“We are very pleased to welcome Kerstin Berns and her team of consultants to join the TAUS representatives,” says Jaap van der Meer, director of TAUS. “In the past couple of months we have seen an increasing interest in the TAUS Dynamic Quality Framework, also from companies in Germany. The DQF shared metrics and tools for the evaluation of translation quality meet the needs of a changing business environment in which buyers and providers of translation look for effective ways to automate and rationalize processes.”
Kerstin Berns joins a group of TAUS representatives in North America and Europe who are very familiar with all TAUS resources and are in the best position to provide the consultancy and implementation services that TAUS member and non-member organizations need. The internal team is focused on the core tasks of developing best practices, shared knowledge and industry-standard tools and resources to support the innovating global translation industry.
“I am very pleased to join the group of TAUS representatives,” says Kerstin Berns. “We at berns language consulting see the organisation’s translation quality approach as an important part of any ideal multilingual information management process. As representatives we help customers introduce the DQF effectively into their process chain.”
