A new year full of conferences lies ahead of us! As we said in our blog about the ETUG 2018: After the conference is before the conference. The date for this year is set and coming closer: The ETUG 2019 will take place on 28 and 29 May in Düsseldorf and will again be organized by blc. We are looking forward to it and will give you a little outlook in this blog.
What’s the ETUG?
ETUG stands for European Trados User Group and is a forum for users of SDL software products. Members can share their experiences, workflows and application scenarios. At the annual ETUG conferences, users will also have the opportunity to talk to SDL product managers in person and ask questions.
Would you also like to attend the ETUG conference? Then apply here and become an ETUG member!
What can we expect at the ETUG 2019?
We are looking forward to this year’s contributions from members, product presentations and news from SDL. In 2018 SDL took home some suggestions and there will certainly be an opportunity to talk about this and see what has been happening in the tool landscape. For example, Trados Studio 2019 has been launched (you can read about in in our blog A better user experience with Trados Studio 2019). Let’s see what members have to say about it!
As was the case last year, Ralf Lemster will lead through the conference, which will be – as always – completely in English since we have guests from all over Europe. His debut as ETUG host last year was already more than professional! The ETUG members (aka the “Power Users”) and the colleagues from SDL provide interesting contributions and fill the agenda with their own use cases, problem solutions and product presentations.
During the coffee breaks there will be many opportunities to talk about your current projects and learn from the experiences of others.
We hope that our planned entertainment and culinary program will go down just as well this year as it did last year. Preparations are in full swing and we have a lot of ideas. Let us surprise you!
