Our Memberships, Representations and Cooperations
We are members, official representatives and/or have cooperations with the following organisations:
Memberships & Representations
We have been official representatives of the worldwide TAUS organisation based in Amsterdam since April 2015.
Together, we pursue the common goal of bringing the issue of quality in translation processes to the forefront. This includes the development of high-quality and optimal translation processes for all process and tool scenarios. We are convinced that Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Translation are essential players in the future of translation.
tekom-Membership & tekom-Terminology Circle
We have been members of tekom for 5 years and have been giving lectures at tekom conferences for over 15 years.
We believe that tekom is the driver for innovations in the field of technical documentation in Germany. As such, we are involved with tekom in working groups such as the tekom Terminology Circle.
The tekom working group “Terminology of Technical Communication” consists of a group of people who actively work with terminology in their respective companies. These members work together on a basic set of technical communication terminology and have already released more than 100 relevant terms. Next up is to involve the tekom members in terminology work: soon, proposals for expanding the terminology database will be submitted, which will then be reviewed, approved and released by the group of experts at the TTK working group.
We have been cooperating with Kaleidoscope GmbH (Vienna) in the field of terminology process consulting since June 2019.
The aims of this cooperation are to increase our customer reach and expand the range of services we offer. We support Kaleidoscope in customer projects in Germany and Kaleidoscope supports us with terminology work.
