A terminology management system (TMS) is a system for managing terminology in one or more languages. In most cases, a TMS contains a terminology database as well as automated, partially automated or manual terminology workflows, which are created using templates. Ideally, a terminology management system is connected via interfaces to CMS, authoring systems and translation environments.
